For elective orthopedic procedures, we require an orthopedic consultation prior to surgery to ensure that we address any questions, concerns, ensure that there are no barriers to surgery, and confirm diagnosis. We additionally require basic bloodwork prior to surgery.
Cost of Initial Orthopedic Examination is $120 plus all applicable taxes.
Cost of CBC + CHEM 10 is $114 plus all applicable taxes.
For fracture repair, hip luxation, or other emergent procedures, the in office examination is waived as these procedures typically need to happen as quickly as possible. Typically, the presurgical examination will happen without the owner present prior to surgery, and any issue that needs to be addressed will happen by phone. The cost of bloodwork is included in the price of surgery.
All pricing includes surgery, anesthesia, medications for surgery, standard postoperative medications, suture/staple removal, and recheck appointment with radiographs to ensure appropriate healing.
Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy ( TPLO )

Tightrope Procedure/Lateral Fabellar Suture
| Cat or Small Dog <22 lbs. * There may be very unusual circumstances where we perform a Tightrope or lateral fabellar suture on a dog over 22 lbs, but it is rare as we do not feel that this is in the patient’s best interest as they typically do much better with a TPLO.
