Jessica grew up in Ottawa and graduated from the University of Ottawa with a double major in biology and biochemistry before heading on to the Ontario Veterinary College. She graduated in 2016 and spent her first year working as a mixed animal veterinarian at the Perth Veterinary Clinic, before moving to Almonte. In her free time, Jessica likes to spend time outdoors hiking or playing soccer in the summer, snowboarding or curling in the winter. If she’s indoors, its likely curled up with her lovely cat Gizmo, who enjoys afternoons reading and playing video games as much as his owner (although he generally naps through the good bits).

Dr. Cheryl Osso

Cheryl Osso lived in a variety of places throughout her life, but most recently hails from Brockville, Ontario where her parents still live. Cheryl completed her lifelong dream of becoming a mixed animal veterinarian in 2015 when she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College. She loves animals and owns two rabbits who terrorize any unwanted visitors. In her free time she plays soccer and hockey, bikes, canoes and knits. She is an avid reader, and can often be found curled up with a good book. She has spent the occasional summer raising orphaned kittens, but is proud to say that she found them all homes before she could talk herself into keeping them.

Dr. Stephanie Cote, DVM

Stephanie grew up in Ottawa, skiing and riding horses. She has been working as a veterinarian in the Ottawa area since she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2002. Stephanie has a special interest in integrative medicine and has pursued training in acupuncture, osteopathy, and herbal medicine. Stephanie especially enjoys teaching clients how to manage common pet health issues and gives monthly public presentations on a variety of topics. Stephanie lives on a beautiful hobby farm just outside of Almonte, perfect for her family to enjoy all their horses, dogs, rabbits and cats. Stephanie loves meeting new patients and helping owners find practical solutions to keep their pets healthy and happy.
